Mountain Christmas Cancer Clinic Fundraiser
(November 19 - 21, 2010)

The holidays are one of the rare times during the year that we get to send out greetings to loved ones and cherished friends. This year, we will make those greetings and gifts even more special with beautiful handcrafted cards and gift tags. We will take a timeless tradition, the advent calendar, and learn to infuse it with the latest trends. We’ll focus on revitalizing our own spirit through yoga, invigorating our bodies through Nia dance and uplifting our hearts through fundraising for a great cause.

It’s time to refresh and energize your holiday season!

The Entire Weekend, hosted by Hostelling International’s Lake Louise Alpine Centre, includes dorm style accommodation, meals, activities, speakers and supplies needed for only $349.

Kathryn Williams - Registered Yoga Teacher

Kathryn lives in Banff where she practices yoga regularly, and loves to hike, climb, ski, snowboard and enjoy everything the mountains have to offer. She is a registered yoga teacher with the yoga alliance, having completed her 200 hour teacher training. Having travelled extensively and lived abroad in Europe and Australia, she has recently returned to Banff to be close to family. Come explore your creative side with these fun filled activities that encourage self expression.

Jo-Ann Rutherford- Nia Green Belt Instructor

After close to ten bi-annual vacations in the Bow Valley to ski and hike, Jo-Ann and her husband made Canmore their home 8 years ago. With a background in nursing and massage therapy, Jo-Ann is very comfortable being with and inspiring people of all ages to move. When not teaching dance, Jo-Ann has a small massage therapy practise and works casually at the Canmore Hospital.
